DUBLIN FIRE BRIGADE staff have probably dealt with all manner of unusual incidents, but we’re thinking that yesterday’s ranks up among the most bizarre.

Two of its fire fighters had their skills tested when they were called to help a snake that was trapped.

Here’s how it unfolded:
