Gardaí launch fresh appeal for information about missing 28-year-old

Steven Trainor has been missing from the Smithfield area of Dublin since the early hours of Monday morning.

GARDAÍ IN BRIDEWELL have renewed their appeal for public assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 28-year-old man who has not been seen since the early hours of Monday morning.

Steven Trainor was last seen in the Smithfield area at around 2am on Monday morning/Sunday night. It is thought he may have taken a taxi from the Smithfield market or city centre areas towards Howth.

He is described as 5’7″ in height, with fair hair and blue eyes. Friends say he speaks with an Ulster accent.

Gardaí are particularly keen to speak with taxi drivers who may have seen or collected Steven between 2am and 4am on Monday morning.

Anyone who may have seen Steven or who can assist in locating him is asked to contact Gardaí in Bridewell at (01) 666 8200, the Garda confidential line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.

They are also asked to contact Peter Keogh, a friend of Steven’s, at 087 2673337 or through Facebook.
