Gardaí investigating Blanchardstown shooting

A 25-year-old man received a facial injury during in the incident in Dublin.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED a 31-year-old man in connection with a shooting in Blanchardstown last night.

A 25-year-old man received a gunshot injury to his face during the incident at Whitestown Park. He was taken to Connolly Hospital for treatment.

Gardaí were called to a scene at Whitestown Avenue and both scenes were preserved for investigations.

The 31-year-old was arrested following a search of a house in Whitestown Park. He is being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under section 30 of the offences against the State Act.
