Gardaí seize shotguns and cocaine at house in Castleknock

Two men have been arrested after gardaí searched a house in Dublin as part of an ongoing investigation into drug operations in Blanchardstown.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested after gardaí seized shotguns and drugs at a house in Castleknock in Dublin during a planned search.

Two firearms and a small quantity of cannabis and cocaine were discovered during the raid carried out yesterday afternoon by gardaí from the local drug unit and the Crime Task Force.

The two men, one aged 26 and the other aged 24, were arrested at the scene. They are both currently being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.

The search was part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in the Blanchardstown area of Dublin.

The firearms will be examined at Garda Headquarters later today. Investigations into the case are continuing.
