Man found dead following suspected hit-and-run

The victim is believed to have been in his twenties.

A MAN HAS been found dead following what gardaí believe to have been a hit-and-run incident in Co Clare.

The man’s body was found in Tobairtaoscain, Ennis, Co Clare, shortly after 10pm last night.

Gardaí are now investigating what they believe to be a fatal hit-and-run incident in which the man was killed.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He is believed to have been in his late 20s.

The area has been sealed off for a technical investigation.
