Not a bad day at the office.

THE IRISH AIR Corps spotted some whales off the Galway coast while on a routine patrol over the weekend.

The crew from 101 Surveillance and Airlift Squadron spotted the pod 120 nautical miles west of Clifden, Co Galway.
