Two arrested following death of five-year-old boy at water park
The incident happened just before 4pm yesterday at Bosworth Water Park near Leicester.
A MAN AND a woman have been arrested following the death of a five-year-old boy at a water park in England.
The incident happened at about 3.50pm at Bosworth Water Park, near Leicester, yesterday.
The young boy was subsequently taken to the University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire where he was later pronounced dead.
An investigation is now under way into the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death.
The arrested man and woman remain in police custody.
“We would ask that people do not speculate about the incident and the circumstances surrounding the death and leave the authorities to carry out their investigations,” a Leicestershire Police spokesperson said.
