Man in his 20s charged over Dublin cocaine seizure

Gardaí carried out a planned search of a house in Crumlin on Saturday afternoon.

A MAN IN his early 20s has been charged after gardaí found a quantity of cocaine during a search of a house in Dublin.

Gardaí carried out the planned search of the home on Clonard Road in Crumlin on Saturday afternoon during which the cocaine, estimated to be worth around €8,000, was discovered.

The man was arrested and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

He was subsequently charged and is due to appear before the Dublin District Court on 19 December.
