The body of Christopher Jackson, 53, was found in a plastic bag inside his home. He is thought to have been dead for some time.

A 39-YEAR-OLD MAN is to appear in court later this morning in connection with the discovery of the body of another man in his Dublin home.

The man will appear before a special sitting of Dublin District Court this morning.

A woman in her 40s and another man in his 30s, both of whom were arrested in connection with Jackson’s death in recent days, remain in Garda custody.

The remains of Christopher Jackson were found in a plastic bag at Prussia Street, Dublin 7, on Saturday.

It is understood that he had been stabbed and that his body had been kept at the location for a number of days.

A post-mortem has been carried out on his remains, though it is expected to be some time before further details surrounding his death can be established.
