A new study puts the work done by a stay at home parent at €39,182. Do you think that’s a fair rate?

A NEW STUDY puts the value of the work done by a stay at home parent at €39,182, based on a minimum wage of €7.65 per hour.

The study points out that stay-at-home parents work 14 hour days, and regularly put in seven day weeks, cleaning, cooking, chauffering and counselling.

But do you think that’s enough? Or far too much? How would you value the work done by a stay-at-home-parent?
