DUBLIN’S STEPHEN’S GREEN shopping centre received the green light for the planned €100m part demolition and rejuvenation earlier this week.
Originally built in the 1980s, the centre is known for its white ironwork and glass design.
Dublin City Council received 61 submissions with the bulk of those opposed to the application.
The digital images showing the plans for the shopping centre have attracted some criticism as the distinctive facade is to be completely redone.
