Train services delayed after bin truck damages crossing barrier

Irish Rail said the truck failed to stop at the barriers.

RAIL SERVICES WERE delayed this morning after a bin truck refused to stop and damaged crossing barriers.

Irish Rail said there were delays of around 20 minutes to Maynooth/Sligo line services this morning as a result.

Delays of +20 mins to Maynooth/Connolly and Sligo/Connolly services due to issue with level crossing at Coolmine. Update to follow.
