Woman who had just been raped told to "quit crying" by 911 operator

However, the operator will receive no disciplinary action.

A 911 OPERATOR who told a woman who had just been raped to “quit crying” will not be reprimanded, ITN reports.

The 20-year-old had called emergency services after a man broke into her home in Ohio, the United States, and attacked her.

During her distraught call to 911, the operator tells her to “quit crying”.

“I don’t know what you deal with everyday but the kind of sympathy you have right now is zero,” the woman says.

The operator then goes on to tell her that it is unlikely that the perpetrator will be arrested as she has provided too few details.

A 30-year-old man was eventually arrested and charged him with burglary and rape, NY Daily News reports.
