Girl (7) sends adorable prayer about her newborn sister and the Toy Show to Ryan Tubridy

Lauren hopes little Holly will be back at home before the big day.

RYAN TUBRIDY VISITED a premature baby girl after her big sister sent him a prayer hoping she will be at home before the Toy Show.

Lauren, who is seven-years-old, wrote that she hoped little Holly would be well enough to go home before the show starts on Friday.

Tubridy, touched by the child’s story, visited the family at Holles Street hospital following his RTÉ show.

Lauren’s prayer read: “Dear God. Can I ask that you watch over my new born baby sister Holly so that she will start taking her bottle so that she will be home in time for the Late Late Toy Show. Amen.”

After Ryan read the prayer on-air, the infant’s father Alan Buckley got in touch to say thanks and to let the team know that Holly is doing well.

Buckley said they just need her to start taking a bottle.

Speaking on his own show this morning, Tubridy said: “I got an amazing letter from a person. A prayer. It’s a toy show related prayer. Hopefully, your prayers are answered by Friday.
