Four die in Slovenia hot air balloon crash

The incident occurred when 32 tourists were aboard the balloon, which caught fire and crash-landed in a field near Ljubljana.

FOUR TOURISTS WERE killed after a hot air balloon crashed in Slovenia today.

Sky News reports that 28 other people were injured in the incident, which occurred after the balloon caught fire and crash-landed.

According to Reuters, there were six children among those injured in the crash, which occurred at around 8am local time.

It is thought the balloon may have been caught in a storm, but the exact cause of the fire is not known.
