THE FUNERAL OF Tom O’Gorman is to be held in Castleknock tomorrow.
The 39-year-old was killed at his house in Castleknock on 12 January. His lodger, 34-year-old Saverio Bellante, has been charged with the murder. It’s understood the two men had been playing a game of chess before the killing.
Removal to the Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock will take place tonight at 5.30pm. Tomorrow morning a requiem mass will take place at 11.30am followed by the burial in Castleknock Churchyard.
O’Gorman had worked at Catholic lobby group the Iona Institute for the past seven years. His family, friends and colleagues attended a service at St Teresa’s Church in Dublin city centre last week to pay tribute to him and remember his life.
