Two prisoners escape from London prison

It’s understood that the two men left mannequins in their beds.

TWO PRISONERS HAVE escaped from a prison in north London.

The Ministry for Justice confirmed that the escape happened at Pentonville prison this afternoon.

It’s widely reported that the two men were discovered missing when mannequins were found in their beds.

The BBC is reporting that the inmates used diamond-tipped cutting equipment to break through cell bars before they scaled the perimeter wall.

It’s understood that one of the men is serving a very long sentence.

The category B prison holds 1,200 men and has been in operation since 1842.
