Woman in her 20s seriously injured after Dun Laoghaire assault

It is understood that the incident occurred near the old baths on the Queen’s Road just after 3pm today.

EMERGENCY SERVICES WERE called to the scene of a serious assault of a woman in Dun Laoghaire this afternoon.

She suffered serious arm and neck injuries in the incident and was found close to the old baths at Queen’s Road, Dun Laoghaire at around 3.20pm.

The woman has been described as an Asian woman in her 20s.

She has been taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where her condition is not known at this stage.

The area has been sealed off pending an examination of the scene by technical examiners.

Anyone with information, or who was in the Queen’s Road area of Dun Laoghaire between 3pm and 4pm this afternoon should contact Dun Laoghaire Garda Station on 01 666 5000.
