A 19-YEAR-OLD MAN has died following an industrial accident in Monaghan this morning.
It happened at a farm near Castleross in Carrickmacross at around 9am.
The man who died was carrying out construction work on the farm. He was employee of a contractor brought in to carry out work.
He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where he died from his injuries.
A spokesperson for the Health and Safety Authority told TheJournal.ie that it had sent investigaters to the scene.
The gardai have also launched an investigation.
