Here are the 6 best-value cars in Europe for 2018

AutoBest has announced the cars it considered the ‘Best Buy’ cars in Europe for 2018.

AUTOBEST HAS ANNOUNCED the six cars in the running for the this year’s ‘Best Buy Car of Europe’ award.

The new Citroen C3 Aircross, new Ford Fiesta (read our review here), new Honda Civic (read our review here), Opel Grandland X, new SEAT Ibiza and Volkswagen T-Roc will battle it out in the annual Autobest awards to be crowned ‘Best Buy’.

The AutoBest 2018 award is given to the new car which represents the best value for European buyers, as chosen by a jury.

When deciding on the cars to include, the AutoBest jury take into consideration price (all cars must be priced €20,000 or less excluding all local taxes), service network, spare parts distribution and versatility as well as design and new technologies.

The AutoBest jury is made up of 31 men and women from 31 European countries, with Ireland represented by our very own Dave Humphreys of Complete Car and TheJournal.ie.

In November, all of the jury members will head to the Vairano proving ground near Milan for the Final 6 Test, where the cars will be put through their paces on-road and on-track and voting will take place.

Last year the SEAT Ateca won the award. The winner of the AutoBest ‘Best Buy Car of Europe 2018′ will be announced on 15 December.
