Each week, we step inside a reader’s home, and indulge in some copycat behaviour, creating a shopping list inspired by their interior style.
This week, Lisa Joyce’s (@seoigehome) autumnal mantlepiece was our inspiration.
“We moved in here in March, just before lockdown,” says Lisa. “This had to be a room we could retreat in the evening. I love chilling on the couch crafting with some candles burning.”
“It also needed to be kid-friendly as we have a three-and-a-half year old. Her crafts and jigsaws are all stored in the tv unit.”
EZ Living, Home Focus and TK Maxx were Lisa’s main ports of call when decorating this space. Below are six high street items that’ll help you get the look in your own home…
1. Leopard print stool, €46.34 (£42), Cult Furniture
We love Lisa’s printed stool, and this one is a close match.
2. Pumpkin ornament, €23.50, Next
October is just days away, so it’s time to take out the pumpkins. If you’re feeling creative, you could even paint some real ones.
3. Potted plant, €8, Ikea
There’s no such thing as too many plants.

5. Amber vase, €37.87, Oliver Bonas
Choosing items in warm tones adds to the cosy feel of the room.
6. Gold candlestick, €7.99, H&M
Having a few candles lighting makes the dark evenings just a little bit easier.
