GARDAÍ SAY CAPEL Street in Dublin’s city centre has been reopened to traffic following an earlier fire.
Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) earlier attended a fire at a restaurant on Dublin’s Capel Street.
At least one person, believed to be a woman, was injured and taken to hospital with a suspected fractured ankle. No serious injuries were reported.
The fire happened in a third floor apartment above the Musashi sushi restaurant close to the city’s quays.
The street, situated just north of the Liffey and close to O’Connell Street, is a popular eating area with numerous, mostly Asian, restaurants.
