A BATCH OF gravy granules have been recalled over concern that some packets may contain metal.
The affected products are 170g containers of Bisto for Chicken Granules and 170g containers of Reduced Salt Bisto for Chicken Granules.
The batch in question has the best before date of January 2017.
It has been found that some packets may contain small pieces of metal due to a production fault.
The warning has been issued through the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.
Premier Foods, who manufacture the products, has said that retail customers have been contacted and point of sale notices will be displayed in stores.
