Price comparison: What can I buy for under €400k in Co Louth?

From a cosy three-bed bungalow in Ardee to a spacious period property in Dundalk.

GETTING TO GRIPS with an ever-changing property market is tricky, but we’re here to make things a little easier. Each week, we pick a number of homes around a similar budget, to give you a snapshot of the property landscape at a particular price point.

This week, we’re looking at properties in Co Louth priced below €400,000 – including a three-bed bungalow in Ardee and a period property in Dundalk.

Five-bed, detached, Omeath – €385,000 

Chapel Hill in Omeath is a four bedder close to Omeath village and the Greenway walk along Carlingford Lough. The home has views of the Mourne Mountains as well as the lough, enjoying a countryside setting that isn’t far from local amenities like schools, shops and sporting facilities. 

Inside comprises a welcoming hallway that leads to an open plan kitchen and dining space with a separate utility off it.  A living room as well as a study, which could be a fifth bedroom, completes the social spaces.
