Gardaí uncover cocaine stash house, seize €115k worth of drugs

A man in his 30s was arrested on Wednesday at a premises on Moore street.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have arrested a man in his 30s and seized €115,000 worth of cocaine.

The seizure was made as part of a lengthy surveillance operation by gardaí from Store Street station, aimed at disrupting the supply chain in the Dublin region.

Officers carried out a search at a premises on Moore Street in Dublin on Wednesday and found a quantity of what is believed to be crack cocaine, with a street value of €3,000.

Two false passports were also seized.

As part of a follow-up search, gardaí discovered 1.6kg of cocaine, with a street value of €112,000. Mixing agents, scales and a quantity of cash was also found.

The man, who was arrested for drug trafficking offences, is being held at Store Street garda station.
