Man arrested in Dublin after 'serious assault'

A man in his 20s was taken to St James’ Hospital after the assault in Rialto.

A MAN HAS been taken to hospital and another man was arrested this evening after a ‘serious assault’ in Dublin.

The incident took place in Rialto, Dublin 8, at approximately 5.40pm. A man in his 20s was taken by ambulance to St James’ Hospital. It is understood that he sustained serious injuries in the assault.

A garda spokesperson told TheJournal.ie that another man, aged 19, was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Kilmainham Garda Station.
