Delays expected in Dublin city centre as fire brigade carries out river rescue

There has been a temporary closure of one lane on Usher’s Quay.

DELAYS CAN BE expected in Dublin city centre this evening as the Dublin Fire Brigade carry out a rescue in the River Liffey.

There has been a temporary lane closure at Usher’s Quay while the emergency services respond to the incident.

Dublin Fire Brigade posted on social media shortly before 6.30pm this evening to advice that its members were on the scene on the south side of the Liffey.

“We’re responding to a river rescue vicinity of Usher’s Quay, temporary lane closure as a result,” the brigade’s post said.
