Biography

Lowry was first elected as a TD in 1987. He has been re-elected to the Dáil in every general election since. He was formerly with Fine Gael until he left the party and ran as an Independent candidate in 1997. He is a former chairman of the Fine Gael Parliamentary Party.

Delivery of access to healthcare.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

I would meet the new Minister for Enterprise and Jobs with a view to bringing industry, investment and employment to Tipperary.
