63-year-old man charged over fatal stabbing at Dublin's North Strand

He’s due to appear in court later today.

A 63-YEAR-OLD man has been charged in connection with a fatal stabbing at North Strand in Dublin on Sunday night.

The man is due to appear at the Criminal Courts of Justice at 4pm today.

David Sheridan, 45, died in hospital on Monday after sustaining a number of stab wounds on Sunday night.

The 63-year-old was arrested yesterday morning.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with any information, or who may have been at North Strand between 10.15pm and 10.45pm on Sunday night to contact Mountjoy Garda Station on 01 666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
