GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have arrested a man in his 20s after drugs worth an estimated street value of almost €300,000 were found yesterday evening.
“Confidential information” received by gardaí led to them searching a house in Huntstown Court in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.
During this search, cannabis resin with an approximate street value of €247,000 was found.
Cocaine worth an estimated €43,000, and ecstasy tablets worth €1,150 were also discovered.
One man was arrested and taken to Blanchardstown garda station.
He is being detained under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Two men were arrested and €300,000 in cash seized in a separate operation carried out by gardaí in Sandyford, south Dublin, yesterday evening.
