What can I get around Ireland right now for... exactly €200,000?

From a three-bed in Kildare to a home by the sea in Donegal.

Each week, we profile four of our favourite homes on sale right now within a certain price range, to give you an idea of what sort of property you can afford.

This week, we’re taking a look at properties that cost €200,000.

Portnoo, Co Donegal – €200,000

If you’re looking for countryside vibes by the sea then Portnoo in the northwest should be on your radar.  A four-bed detached home, spread over two floors, light is introduced thanks to a conservatory to the side. Privacy isn’t a problem as the property is part of a gated estate with off-street parking included. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are downstairs, with two more bedrooms upstairs.

For outdoor enthusiasts and keen walkers there are plenty of beach trails and amenities close by. Narin and Portnoo golf links and a Blue Flag beach are perfect spots to unwind and enjoy water sports.

Milltown, Co Kerry

A home in the east, just a five minute drive from Gorey town, An tOilean is a development of three, four and five bedroom homes that all carry an A rating for energy, which is reflected in low bills. Triple-glazed PVC windows keep the heat in, while generously roomy social areas and bedrooms are sure to suit families of most sizes. 

In terms of amenities, there are plenty on the doorstep, including Craanford NS primary school, sporting facilities, a community hall and the local church.

Rathangan, Co Kildare

A three-bed home with three bathrooms that’s just over an hour from Dublin, 25 Pomeroy Park is a spacious end of terrace home. A kitchen/dining area, a sitting room and a guest WC makes up the ground floor, while a family bathroom and en suite bathroom add to the accommodation upstairs. 

The village of Rathangan has plenty of amenities including, schools, shops, and a GAA club. No 25 is situated within walking distance to all of this, while the outlets of Kildare Village are just 10 km away.
