Price comparison: What can I buy around Co Galway for €450k?

From a detached home in Ballinasloe to a semi-d on the Clybaun Road.

WITH PROPERTY ACROSS the country in such high demand, it can be really hard to get a sense of what your money can let you buy. 

That’s why each week, we cherrypick a number of homes in a precise location or county, to make things a little easier to digest. 

This week, we’re looking at properties around Galway with an asking price of €450,000 or less – from a detached home in Ballinasloe to a semi-d on the Clybaun Road just outside the city.

Four-bed semi-detached, Clybaun Road: €445,000

54 Slí Na Sruthán is a short stroll from everyday amenities making it a great option for young families who want to stay close to Galway city. Knocknacarra Retail Park, Sheridans Bar and Restaurant, the Clybaun Hotel and plenty of sporting facilities are easy to get to.

A handy 2km from the village of Ardrahan sits this four-bedroom family home that’s 210 sq m in size. This detached four-bed in Oranmore is close to Galway Bay Golf Resort and Rinville Sailing Club and all the while just a ten minute drive from Galway city.
