Price Comparison: What can I buy for under €400k around Co Cork?

From a five-bed in Bantry to a three-bed in Farranree.

THIS WEEK WE’RE scouring the rebel county to find out what €400,000 will get us in the current climate.

It’s easy to get carried away when it comes to house hunting but budgeting is important. If you’re looking to buy in Cork, let us do some of the work for you with these top picks. 

Three-bed semi-detached, Farranree – €265,000

101 St Brendan’s Road has great views over Cork city seeing as it sits on an elevated corner site. The house has been extended to the back to include a larger kitchen and an extra bathroom. The garden is fenced and faces south west, with a patio area and the added benefit of a garden shed. 

The home is a walk away from Blackpool Shopping Centre, plenty of local schools and two bus routes go straight past the door.
