Price Comparison: What can I buy in Limerick for under €380k?

From a four bed detached in Kildimo to a two-bed townhouse in the city.

GETTING YOUR HEAD around the fluctuating property market can be confusing, but we’re here to make things a little easier.

Each week, we’ll pick a number of homes within a similar budget, to give you a a better idea of where things are at at any given time.

This week, we’re looking at properties that are on the market in Limerick – from a four bed detached in Kildimo to a two-bed townhouse in the city.

Four-bed, detached, Kildimo – €380,000

Cloongownagh is a house that sits on half an acre along the Adare to Kildimo Road. A 144 m² four-bed, the rooms inside comprise a hallway that leads to the open plan kitchen and living area that has a triple aspect and so, lots of natural light. A utility room and guest toilet are just off the main social space. A second lounge to the front of the house offers more privacy. 
Each of the bedrooms have built-in closets, while three have space for double beds. Outside there is a detached garage prime for conversion, as it has services connected, and a sunny back garden that benefits from facing west. Adare is a just a seven minute drive away while Limerick city is twenty.

A super option for first-time buyers or couples who want to be in the city, 4 Saint Peter Street is a townhouse close to everything in Limerick city. The ground floor consists of a  living and dining room to the front and a garden courtyard to the back. New floors and new overhead skylights have recently been added. There is also a utility room and bathroom downstairs while the two bedrooms, both double, are upstairs. 

The area is home to some of Limericks most popular bars and restaurants, dotted around the picturesque Abbey River canal and Georges Quay. The nationally renowned Hunt Museum is also within a few minutes walk, which sits opposing the large-scale Opera Centre development.
