What’s wrong with peeling off the stickers? No need for wholesale destruction of the cube.
Peeling of the stickers if done incorrectly can make the cube unsolvable
No it can’t….. cos you put them back on in the solved position….. who would put them back on in a different random order??
My sister changed the stickers on my rubix cube so that I couldn’t finish it before her… still wrong :(
Done it once and once only, and the little 3yr old from next door came in and mixed it all up, I was raging. But happy to say he lived to see 4 :)
Can’t bring myself to do it. The cube is a much nicer object when all the colours are mixing happily and co-existing. It is a thing of beauty when all the colours are fully integrated – but when ‘solved’ it’s so sectarian and apartheid looking. OK I admit I can’t.
I can only ever get one colour!!
