DRY WITH SUNNY spells.
Music to our ears. Thanks Met Éireann.
Temperatures are expected to reach as high as 20°C in places today with most areas dry and experiencing sunshine.
Enjoy it while you can though, widespread rain and drizzle is predicted for tomorrow morning and will continue in some regions until late evening.
Those lucky enough to be in south and east Munster will see drier – and possibly brighter – conditions before then though.
The weekend will be a mixed bag of drizzle and warm sunshine on Saturday but there is lots of rain forecast for Sunday.
And that will be followed by just pure bad news from next Tuesday as rainy or drizzly conditions seem set to spread from the Atlantic again. And the rest of next week? The folk at the Met say:
[It] will be characterised by southwest to west winds which are unlikely to be very strong at any stage. Temperatures will be about normal or a little above for the transition from June to July, and frequently high humidity will make it feel clammy much of the time.

Today: A sight for sore eyes.
