This is the Lavazza Espressgo and it can be yours for around €150. Espressgo is the first Lavazza espresso maker that brews real(ish) Italian espresso in the car, camper, boat or any other vehicle with a 12v socket.

What does it do?

It makes fresh coffee whilst on the go! You open its neat travel bag, select your A Modo Mio capsule (there are ten varieties to choose from), add water, plug it into a 12v socket… et voila, a hot cup of coffee is brewed for you in less than three minutes.

The Lavazza Espressgo fits into most car cup holders and makes a Lungo sized cup of coffee, which is around the size of a double espresso. It is easy to operate and by using capsules you won’t be spilling coffee granules all over the place.

You can indeed. No need to turn the volume up on this one, it’s actually silent, proving the Lavazza Espressgo is so easy to use you don’t even need words to explain it.

Why would I want it?

If you love your coffee and spend a lot of time on the road this would be a great idea for you. Say goodbye to weak service station cups of Joe for good. Also, if you are undertaking a long journey and won’t have time to stop then this is a quick way to have a hot drink, which will keep you warm and alert. And, of course, in the long run, it will save you money.
