A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the assault of an Irishman in Liverpool.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Kyle Harley of Seymour Street in Tranmere, was remanded to appear in Liverpool Magistrates’ Court.
He is a serving British soldier, the paper reports.
The victim, a 24-year-old from Cork, remains in a critical condition after the Saturday morning attack in Concert Square.
He was found with serious head injuries in an alleyway in the city centre. A local detective told the newspaper that it was a “nasty attack” on a man enjoying a night out.
