Man in Clare charged with offences under Child Trafficking and Pornography Act

The 33-year-old will appear in court tomorrow morning over offences contrary to the Child Trafficking & Pornography Act.

A 33-YEAR-OLD MAN will appear in court in Clare tomorrow morning charged with offences under the Child Trafficking and Pornography Act.

The man was arrested by Gardaí in Ennistymon on Wednesday and was detained under the Criminal Justice Act, 1994. He was subsequently charged today, Gardaí confirmed in a statement this evening.

There are no details available at this time as to the nature of the charges.

The man will appear before a special sitting of Kilrush District Court at 10am tomorrow.
