Man in critical condition after being hit by car

It happened in the early hours of this morning.

A MAN IS in a critical condition after being hit by a car in the early hours of this morning.

He was struck by a car close to the railway halt on the Glenavy Road in Moira at around 2.40am.

The 34-year-old’s injuries are believed to be extremely serious and he is understood to be in a critical condition.

Inspector Paul McCarron has asked anyone who witnessed the collision, or who was in the area at the time and who can assist the investigation, to call 101 and speak to police.
