GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for witnesses after a 23-year-old man was seriously injured in a crash in Donegal overnight.
The incident happened shortly before 1am when the car the man was driving crashed into a stone wall at Drumnohoagh, 2 kilometres outside Letterkenny.
The man was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. Gardaí said his condition is serious.
The road has been closed while a forensic examination of the scene is carried out.
Gardaí in Letterkenny have called on anyone who was on the Letterkenny to Derry Road between 12.30am and 1am to contact them.
