Price Comparison: What can I buy in Co Meath for under €600,000?

This week, we’ve found four spacious homes in the Royal County.

MEATH IS OFTEN top of the list when it comes to commuter counties. But it’s not just its proximity to Dublin city that makes the county appealing. Affordability and more space are just two more reasons why many are considering houses here.

This week, we’ve found four spacious homes in the Royal County that are all under the €600,000 mark – all detached and semi-detached from Trim to Navan, here’s what’s on offer.

Four-bed, detached, Trim – €525,000

10 Effernock Woods is an A-rated home with a floor area of 162 m². The elegant red brick exterior with limestone detailing and Edwardian-style windows give this home real curb appeal. Inside, the layout is focused on family living and comprises an entrance hall, living room, open plan kitchen with living and dining area and then a utility and guest toilet. Upstairs is home to the four bedrooms with the main enjoying its own bathroom.

There is a spacious back garden that’s accessed via French doors from the kitchen while another side door can be found in the utility room. The garden to the front is landscaped and includes off-street parking. Number 10 is one of 20 homes in the Effernock Woods development and it’s walking distance from Trim town. The M3 provides easy access to the capital in approximately an hour.

Pinewood Lodge is a charming three-bed bungalow that has been tastefully extended. It sits just a seven minute drive from Navan town, and dates to the 1930s. It’s full of natural light and the front and back gardens are well established. The house is approached by a gravel driveway. There is potential for further extending, too.
