Renewed appeal for missing Elaine O'Hara

The 36-year-old woman was last seen in Dublin on 22 August.

GARDAÍ HAVE RENEWED their appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of a 36-year old woman who has been missing since 22 August.

Elaine O’Hara was last seen leaving Belarmine Plaza in Stepaside in Dublin at around 5.05pm on Wednesday, 22 August.

Gardaí say that she was subsequently sighted close to a footbridge that crosses the railway at Shanganagh Park in Shankill at around 6.15pm that same evening.

Her car, a green Fiat Punto with an 05 registration, was later located by Gardaí at Shanganagh Cemetery in Shankill at around 3pm on Friday, 24 August.

She is described as being 5 foot 4 inches in height, of stocky build and with brown hair. When last seen, she was wearing jeans, runners and a blue jacket or jumper.
