#MAR-A-LAGO: A man was shot dead by US Secret Service agents after trying to unlawfully enter US President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

#IRAN: US envoy Steve Witkoff said President Donald Trump is questioning why Iran has not “capitulated” in the face of Washington’s military build-up aimed at pressuring them into a nuclear deal.

#TARIFFS: The European Commission called for Washington to abide by the terms of the trade deal struck last year with the EU, as President Donald Trump announced new global tariff hikes following an adverse Supreme Court ruling.

IF YOU HAPPENED to spot men in their mid-forties breaking into a light jog in Dublin’s outer suburbs this morning – well, mystery solved: stadium-filling US rockers Foo Fighters announced a surprise gig in Dublin’s Academy tomorrow night and tickets were only available on a first-come-first-served basis in the city centre today.
