Photos of nude women sleeping or passed out 'in embarrassing positions' shared by fraternity

The members of the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity could face criminal charges.

A PENN STATE University fraternity has been suspended for a year after pictures of nude women asleep or passed out were discovered by police.

The photos were shared on Facebook pages by members of the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity.

According to the affidavit of the State College Police Department a former member of the fraternity acted as an informant and collected photographs, text messages and posts on the Facebook page as evidence.

The Daily Collegian is published by students at Penn State. It reports that both pages included evidence of hazing, photos of nude unconscious women and drug sales.

‘The women were passed out and nude or in other sexual or embarrassing positions.’

It’s understood that a victim found one page called ‘Covert Business Transaction’ which had photos of her topless and it was deleted after she threatened them only to be replaced by a new page ’2.0′.
2.0 had 144 active members including current students and alumni of the fraternity.

Penn State has released a statement regarding the incident. Vice President for Student Affairs, Damon Sims said:

The evidence offered by the Facebook postings is appalling, offensive and inconsistent with the University community’s values and expectations.

“We are confident that the various investigative and review processes, both internal and external to the University, will determine responsibility in this case. ”

Members of the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity could face criminal charges.
