A minor explosion occurred outside a premises early this morning.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING a suspected pipe bomb attack outside a pub in Drogheda, Co Louth.

A minor explosion occurred outside a premises on Newfoundwell Road at 3am today.

No one was injured, but minor damage was caused to the property.

Investigations are ongoing and gardaí in Drogheda have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
