Poll: Will you be borrowing to pay for Christmas this year?

A new survey said that half of respondents intended on borrowing money to cover costs.

THE COST OF Christmas can be high, and for some it’s out of their budget.

A new survey showed that half of people will borrow to pay for Christmas, with the average loan standing at €410.

The Irish League of Credit Unions surveyed 1,000 adults, and said that the average spend on Christmas this year is expected to be greater than last year.

We ask: Will you be borrowing to pay for Christmas this year?
