Poll: What did you make of the Little House on the Prairie remake?

Tell us in this week’s Best of the Box poll.

THE LATEST CLASSIC TV series to be remade for streaming is Little House on the Prairie, which has been given an update by Netflix.

In this latest version, new Osage characters come to the fore as we follow the Ingalls family’s quest to set up home in Kansas (on Osage land). The series is based on the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder, which themselves inspired an earlier TV show in the 1970s.

In our Best of the Box review last week we said:

The Ingalls are a beautiful family, with everyone perhaps a smidgen too good-looking to make this feel truly realistic. But it’s a sign of the balance that the series is trying to strike, between a dreamy, idealised version of settler life and the more gritty reality.

But have you seen Little House on the Prairie, and if so what did you think of it?
