A critically endangered female bongo calf, who was born at Dublin Zoo in February.

When you visit Dublin Zoo, do you turn left or right?

Which way is the correct way?

WITH OVER ONE million visitors every year, Dublin Zoo is one of the country’s most popular attractions.

Many of us have been there, often more than once, but one question has left our newsroom divided.

Anyone who has been to the zoo will know that when you arrive, you’re presented with a crossroads: left will bring you past the lions and macaques and towards the orangutans and lemurs, while right takes you past the reptile house and towards the elephants.

We want to know which way you turn when you get there.

So, tell us: Do you turn left or right when you visit Dublin Zoo?

Poll Results:

Left, by the lions and the macaques, is the only way to go (4870)
Right, towards the reptile house and the elephants, is clearly the right way (3347)
I change it up every time I visit (948)
I've never been to Dublin Zoo (636)
