Seventh person arrested on suspicion of murder of man in Co Derry

POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland have arrested a seventh person as part of an investigation into the murder of a man in Co Derry.

Wayne Reid (43) was pronounced dead at an address in the Society Court area of Coleraine on Monday.

The PSNI believe he may have been involved in an altercation between 8 and 10 January in the Society Court or Society Street areas. 

Detectives arrested a 38-year-old woman and a 45-year-old woman on suspicion of murder today.

Three women, aged 39, 33 and 28, and a 41-year-old man were arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody.

A 33-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday also remains in custody.
